There is no structural wood anywhere in an Everlasting home — so there is no wood rot and no termite damage to manage, ever. The roof is built in SCIP whether flat or sloped, resilient against rain, sun, severe heat, snow and winds over 200 mph, and lasts well beyond a lifetime.

Concrete that repairs itself

In wildfire-prone regions, Everlasting can substitute its proprietary Ultra-High Performance Concrete for the standard concrete layer. UHPC has a 1,000-year design life, is ten times stronger than regular concrete, withstands fire up to 2,192°F continuously, and self-heals minor cracking — so roofs and exterior walls need little or no cosmetic maintenance.

The equipment works less, so it lasts longer

Because the envelope does the thermal work, energy consumption is minimal and the mechanical systems are small. Combined with high-performance plumbing and appliances, that means less to service and lower running costs across the life of the home.
